NZMG and NatLifE 2020 organize retreat in Kloster, Hiddensee |
On September 20-22, 2013, scientists from the NZMG met with colleagues from the Natural Life Excellence Network 2020 (NatLifE 2020) in Kloster, Hiddensee. About 30 participants from academia as well as from industry came together for an exchange of the latest research results and the discussion of new scientific ideas. The workshop was entitled "Functional Genomics and Industrial Application for Bioprocess Control and Enzyme Production". The intent of this workshop was to promote new and strengthen existing scientific contacts. Organizers of the meeting were Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Maurer (AB Enzymes, Darmstadt) and Prof. Dr. Michael Hecker with his team of the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Greifswald. The meeting was initiated and financially supported by the Greifswald University Club with its president Dr. Friedrich Hagemeyer.
